I am not looking to pay retail but we will offer you as close as we can usually 60% on used guns and 65-70% of retail on new guns. ,We are not looking for rough looking guns, I am looking for clean guns that you may want to sell quickly, easily, and for a fair price. A word on pricing- We traditionally will do a comparative value looking at what your gun may be SELLING for on auction not the outrageous prices that are on Gunbroker with zero bids or buy it now prices that are never realized, and will price it according to the newest version of The Blue Book of Gun Values, the bible of gun pricing. We consider this to be retail and will usually offer 60-70% of retail. We seldom compare to what other stores are selling them for, especially in these times. Please understand, I am not buying the gun as a hobby, my intention is to sell the gun at a competitive price, and to do so, must pay less than that. I am not trying to gouge anyone, and most that I buy from feel they were offered a fair sale price.
We have had a lot of new customers, that haven't dealt with us before wanting to sell or trade their guns for top dollar or more. It is simple math, we need to sell the gun cheaper than the next guy to sell it, and we need to buy it for less than that so it makes it worth our while. Our formula is usually 60-70% of what we will be asking for the gun, which is about what the going rate is. It is not a magic potion that determines what we will give for a gun, look it up on line, find what they are SELLING for, not the insane asking prices on Gunbroker, and multiply by 0.7 thats the magic formula. We have had several people get very upset with this. Thankfully none of these have been any of our regular customers, and we are VERY thankful for that. We are always looking for Gen 1 17's, 19's, 17L's and 17LP or 17LC models, we will offer you the best we can for Gen 1 models especially the Gen 1 19, if you have one we will pay you a premium in cash on it! We will buy cases and manuals and magazines from the 80's as well. We can describe these over the phone or text to make sure you have the right ones. A few of the models we are looking for are RTF2C Fish Gill models, of any model, these would be a compensated model with curved rear serrations. We are always looking for RTF2 Fish Gill models, as well as any "C" or compensated models, Gen 2 and up with preference given to Gen 2's. We are interested on any 10th, 20th, or 25th Anniversary models. We are interested in any of the Cutaway models, with preference given to Gen 1's and 2's. We are always looking for Gen 1 and 2 "P" or "C" models especially those in 17L or 24C, but we will also take interest in any 17L or 24 you may have. We also would be interested in the Model 21SF with the Ambi mag release and Picatinny Rail. Also interested in any model RTF1.
